Our Staff

Carey White

President and Horticultural Maintenance Manager

Carey is a Virginia Tech graduate with a B.S. in Integrated Pest Management. He is in charge of all aspects of the Horticultural Maintenance and Lawn Care Departments. Carey serves on the Board of Directors for Richmond Professional Grounds Management Society, and is a Virginia Certified Pesticide Applicator.

Dave Proietti

Nursery Operations Manager and Estimator

Originally from upstate New York, Dave has over 30 years of landscape experience. He is in charge of all aspects of the nursery operations and plant acquisition. Dave coordinates with the project manager and design staff to assure the highest quality plant materials available are obtained for each customer. Dave is a Virginia Certified Pesticide Applicator.

Mike Berlin

Installation Project Manager and Estimator

Mike is in charge of scheduling the installation work, checking each job-site prior to installation, and supervising the crew leaders during installation. Mike works with the nursery manager and design staff to coordinate the smooth completion of all installation jobs. Mike is a Virginia Certified Pesticide Applicator.

Diana Crook

Designer, Sales and Estimating

Diana earned degrees in Business Administration, Horticulture, and Landscape Design from JSRCC and Ferrum College. With over 20 years of award winning design experience in Central Virginia, her responsibilities include commercial and residential design, estimating, and installation supervision. Diana is a VSLD Certified Landscape Designer.

Meg Rymiszewski

Designer, Sales and Estimating

Meg has been designing landscapes for private residences, commercial customers, and state agencies for more than 15 years in the Richmond area. She earned Professional Landscape Designer and Woody Plants Certifications from University of Richmond, and past certifications include Virginia Certified Horticulturist, ICPI Level 1 Certified Installer for hardscapes, and Allan Block Certification for Segmental Retaining Walls. Meg specializes in scale CAD master plans for private residences
